CodeStore is run by Chris Mayer, a professional developer with experience developing on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

I started this website when I realised that there are a lot of talented people who want to get their work on the App Store, but aren't necessarily familiar with coding or software design.

It is the mission of the Code Store to provide easy to use template apps - so that talented content creators such as authors and artists can simply drop their content into Xcode and have an app ready to submit to Apple.

I've had overwhelmingly possitive feedback so far, and I'm really pleased to be helping to bring many great books to iPhone & iPad. And dispite the success of this site, I'm commited to keeping the costs of these template projects low.

I have more than a decade of software development experience, and am probably best known as the creator of the 'Brain App' educational brain training game for iOS and Mac which has over 22,000 users worldwide.

By purchasing an Xcode projects from this site you are permitted to:

• Use the project(s) to publish multiple apps to the App Store - these apps must either be your own work, or that of a single author who has authoised you to build an app of their book. If you wish to publish the work of multiple authors you must re-purchase the appropriate project for each additional author whose work you are publishing.
• You may sell your app at any price, but you must not sell or redistribute the source code.
• You may alter the source code in any way you wish to add or remove features.

Not every book is the same, and you may want an app which is built with your book in mind.

I have a number of variation of the projects available on this site, so if you like the look of one of the projects but would like features added or removed then let me know. I may already have what you're looking for.
